How the Six Points BDE Course Works
- Complete the online theory portion first.
- After the online portion is completed and payment requirements are met, an instructor is assigned for in-car training.

- After all course requirements are completed, Six Points submits the completion for MTO certification.
The online/classroom portion must be completed before in-car instruction begins.
Ontario BDE Course Completion Deadline
Ontario-approved BDE programs must be completed within one year from the student's course start date. Six Points cannot extend the Ministry completion deadline.
Students should avoid leaving the online or in-car requirements until the end of the one-year period.
BDE Can Reduce the G1 Waiting Period
A new driver normally waits 12 months after receiving a G1 before taking the first road test. Completing an approved BDE course can reduce that waiting period to 8 months.

What Happens After BDE Completion?
Once all required components are completed, Six Points submits the completion for MTO certification. Students can then access their Driver's Licence History through ServiceOntario if they need official proof of BDE completion.
